Spencer Herbert, MLA for Vancouver-West End, will be visiting the Cariboo to meet with Tourism groups and operators and a variety of Arts anf culture groups.
Spencer and Cariboo North MLA Bob Simpson will spend time in Williams Lake, 150 Mile House, Quesnel and Wells. They will both attend a performance of Kersley Musical Theatre’s Li’l Abner.
Among other things, the MLAs will be examining the negative impacts of the HST on the tourism industry and the effects of cuts to gaming funds on the arts and culture sector.
